For your final project you will refine and complete your Weebly website and showcase your best work from throughout this year.
*YOU ARE NOT REQUIRED TO TAKE NEW PHOTOGRAPHS FOR YOUR PORTFOLIO UNLESS YOU WANT TO
REQUIREMENTS
1. You must have 4 main pages on your website
Home Page
About Page
Portfolio Page (Include photographs from throughout this course)
Blog
2. Home Page
All photography on your home page must be taken by YOU
The name of your site (ie. Joe Smith Photography) should be visible on your website
The home page should be free of all stock or placeholder imagery
You should have clear and easy navigation to your portfolio page and blog
There should be absolutely no unused or incomplete elements
3. About Page
Must have a self-portrait on this page.
Include at least 1 paragraph about yourself and your photography – * You do not need to provide any personal details. You can include just your first name.
The about page should be free of all stock or placeholder imagery.
There should be absolutely no unused or incomplete elements.
4. Portfolio Page - A set of creative photographic work collected by someone to display their skills.
Your portfolio should contain a total of 40 photographs (all taken by you – you do not need to take new photographs for your portfolio, select your best from throughout the year)
They should be presented in a neat grid on your portfolio page
All photographs should be edited in Photoshop (levels, saturation, etc.)
You must include minimum 5 Landscape photographs
You must include minimum 5 Portrait photographs
You must include minimum 5 Macro/Close-up Photographs.
You must include minimum 5 Light, Shadow & Reflection Photographs
The remaining 20 photographs are your choice
Your portfolio page should have no incomplete elements and be neatly arranged
5. Blog Page – This is the page you have used throughout the year to submit all of your assignments.
Your blog page should contain all of the assignments completed throughout the year
It should be neat and have properly formatted and titled blog posts
You will create one final post for the year that includes:
Final Class Reflection (Written on Blog--- DO NOT EMAIL TO ME) *see requirements
Gallery with 10 Best Photographs from the year
6. Additional Pages – If you have additional pages on your blog make sure they are COMPLETE
You will lose points for any incomplete pages or items on your website
It should be neat and have properly formatted and titled blog posts
7. Website Style and Format
Select fonts, colors, and layouts of your choice, but make sure the website flows and has a consistent look
You can give your website a style that is unique and interesting or you can keep it clean and simple – it should be a reflection of you as an artist/ photographer

8. Final Blog Post / Reflection
Your final blog post will include a written reflection and your 10 favorite photographs from this year
Create a post that includes a written reflection and a gallery with your 10 favorite Images
DO NOT EMAIL ME YOUR REFLECTION! YOU MUST POST ON BLOG.
