This assignment is not for people who need quick results. Many minutes can be spent taking only a few images, with uncertain results. It is essential that you take good notes (record subject and exposure information for each shot) and that you bracket (shoot the same subject for different exposure times). Unlike daytime photography, a few seconds of exposure either way can be negligible and you must photograph in low light situations. With 10-30 second exposures, it takes several seconds to noticeably alter your exposure. You may start with a 5 second exposure, followed by a 10 second exposure, and then a 20-30 second exposure. Your ISO and aperture become very important based on the amount of light available. *ALL EXPOSURES MUST BE LONGER THAN 5 SECONDS! The following tools are necessary:
